I am a PhD student in Mid Western area. I realized that I would not be able to support my family after graduation. I don't have any connections in Korea, in other words, I would do hourly-paying lecture for a long time if come back to Korea.
And I decided to find a job in the U.S.. What is the fastest way to fina a job? I am currently considering a medical licence. I heard that nursing job is not bad in U.S. How about a realtor licence?
Please give me an advice.
Thanks,
If you male student, it will be better because after graduation of nursing school, the starting salary will be 60,000 in the states as I heard from my friend who is nurse. I strongly recommend that you try this area if you decide to major it. Even if you do not want to do after you get green card, you can change another field in medical areas. It took me long time to decide whether I change my major, giving up Ph.D. But I think it would be better to try fast. I am taking some classes in cc now and most of them are just memorizing and memorizing.
The important thing is your English skills. Good luck
