The success of project management hinges on enhancing team cohesion, including project identification, collaboration, participation, motivation, and responsibility. These factors are reflected in individual team members' behaviors. While substantial research exists on improving team cohesion, traditional methods often rely on surveys or observations, which are sporadic and invasive, capturing only a fraction of the dynamic nature of human behavior. This research aims to enhance team cohesion by integrating human sensing technologies with behavioral analysis. The main objectives are to develop and validate innovative models for continuously assessing team cohesion in a less intrusive manner using human sensing data, and to design adaptive strategies that foster a more cohesive and productive team environment. This approach is expected to significantly improve project efficiencies, outcomes, and the overall work environment. PhD candidates will engage in a multidisciplinary effort, collaborating across fields such as project management, behavioral analysis, sensing technology, data science, and social psychology, offering rich opportunities to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
