Position Description:
One postdoctoral position is available through the KBSFPor KVSTAprogram for a highly motivated individual to study cancer immunotherapy at the National Institutes of Health. Projects will focus on translational research aimed at developing complement targeting antibodies for cancer therapy. The overall goal of the group is improving available treatment modalities for hematological malignancies. A wide variety of activities are carried out by the group including development of new targeted therapeutics, optimizing currently available treatments, cellular immunology including in vitro and ex vivostudies, murine models of hematological malignancies, and clinical trials.

Experience Required:
Interested candidates must have a doctoral degree with less than five years of relevant postdoctoral experience. A background in immunology and/or hematology is preferred. A willingness to work hard is expected. Prior experience working with antibody therapies is desired. An excellent publication record along with experience in mouse tumor models will be considered as distinct advantages. The ideal candidate will be a team player that inspires others with their curiosity, passion and drive, leading to synergistic interactions with group members.
