Prof. Kyumin Lee is seeking for a self-motivated Ph.D. student at Data Science Lab in the department of Computer Science at Utah State University beginning in Fall 2016 or Spring 2017. Especially, he is looking for students who are interested in big data mining, data science, social media mining and web-scale information management. Prof. Lee is a recipient of NSF CAREER Award and Google Faculty Research Award. His research has been funded by NSF, Google, Amazon, South Korea government and Utah State. His research has been highlighted by the AP, MIT technology review and Wired.
Selected PhD student will receive a RAship for one year (guaranteed). Then, the student may receive RA/TAship depending on performance of the student in the following PhD years.
