Some people think that being young child should learn how to become organized and honest to be successful in life. However, in my opinion, it is the most important quality for them to know about being helpful to others for two reasons. First, young child would be able to feel satisfied through helping others even though they have heavy study load in this competitive society. Second, they would be able to get better reputation while aiding other people.

To begin with, young children should have a sense of satisfaction about their life because young children today are exposed to higher stress that caused depression and mental disorder due to competition in schools. By helping others in need, they would be able to feel satisfied and improve their quality of life. This is because aiding others is the most rewarding activity and it will make them feel worthwhile. For example, according to psychology expert in Harvard University, he claimed that people tended to feel themselves worthy when they helped others. To be specific, his recent research has shown that people who volunteer regularly have higher level of satisfaction in life than people who do not. In this sense, to assist other people in the society is a good way for young children to feel satisfied and get self-esteem.

On top of that, having helpful attitude to others makes people get better reputations among groups of people. Moreover, it will lead to broad and healthy social relationship. People with positive reputation would be able to be successful in their fields. Therefore, I think it is necessary for young child to be helpful to others in order to live better life. I will talk about my cousin as an example. When he was in college, he willingly helped other classmates when they asked him for help in terms of assignments and personal problems. Therefore, he made good impression to them and he and his classmates became close friends despite during short period. When he wanted to be a leader of his college, he asked his friend to help his election and they were willing to accept his request. As a result, he became the leader of his department and the gap between the other candidates was huge.

To sum up, take the satisfaction of one’s life and better reputation in society into consideration, I would like to share the way to have helpful attitude with young children.
