▶ Your Answer :
Recently, general concern about whether being
happy with a job is more important than having a high salary, has arisen. Some
people think that the most important value at work is being happy, while others
do not. Both sides may have their own reasons to support their opinions. From
my point of view, I am in agreement with the former stand. There are several
reasons and examples as follows.
First of all, happiness is directly
correlated to health. It incurs positive mind-set and brings people to behave
positively and healthier. People who are happy have low chance to get sick and
diseases. Studies show that the respondents replied happiness is the most
powerful criteria to choose their job live long. They found that the
differentiation between two groups, selecting happiness and others is their
mind-set. In general, people respond stress affects their health negatively
would not be healthy and live short. On the other hand, other samples, that
mentioned stress does not influence their health badly and it helps them
developed, proportionately are happy and much healthier than others. Usually the
later has positive mind-set. As this example shows, happiness is linked to
health and it is the most critical value.
In addition, people are satisfied with
their job have a good work efficiency. Environment is always important in any
other field and area. They are willing to go to work and enjoy their job, if
they are happy at work. From my personal experience, I would have not been
happy, when I was in my first job. I worked hard and overtime, I had lack of
sleep, I felt annoyed, not eager to work. Eventually, my performance was
getting worse more and more, I left the company. Having job and working at a
company are mandatory to survive in the current society by earning money.
However, if you are on unhappy situation, the job will not be sustainable due
to a bad performance.
In short, I strongly believe that the
advantages of being happy at work far outweigh its disadvantages for the
reasons. I have mentioned that correlation between happiness and health, and
efficiency in the happy situation. All things considered, the importance of
being happy cannot be underestimated in our life. |
