There is a controversial issue on whether the judgement of people by their appearance is right or not in contemporary society. Some people might say that good appearance plays a pivotal role in their companies' image. However, in my opinion, I firmly believe that judging people by their appearance is not a reasonable appraisal for the following two subsequent reasons. To begin with, the discrimination by physical appearance is illegal. To be specific, in Korea. the Ministy of Labor enacted the law related to the antidiscrimination such as genders, skins, disability and other factors. To put it another way, the govenment specified a myriad of illegal behaviors in details; especially, the council would impose a heavy fine on companies measuring people by their look including the challenging. In this trend, public sectors have executed entrance exams for job seekers and blind interviews in order to provide them with fair opportunities. This kind of changes can lead to imporve the fairness and justice for normal people.
On top of that, working ability is not exactly proportional to people's appearance. Entertainers are required to have popularities by showing their figures on the screens, so they are important to have a good appearance to get popularities from people due to popularities as the same as money. However, most people are not required to have a good shape for their tasks and process. Thererfore, they need to be appraised by their abilities without any prejustice. For example, one start-up company recruited programmers who could make game programs without any face-to-face interviews by examining applications. This was because the company wanted to hire persons with exclusive programming skills for their business. From the instance mentioned above, it is clearly seen that in modern society, people' talents and experience are crucial.
To sum up, taking the negative impacts of judging people by their appearance into consideration, it is worth looking at people' internal mind. Especially, personal appearance is a tiny part of people. In this regard, I stronlgy support the perspective that when it comes to considering human being, judging people by their appearance is not fair.
