It is controversial whether the
criticism breaks down the teamwork. In this regard, I believe that
proper criticism can make a team work more
efficiently rather than fight each other. This is because, by sharing objective
feedback, team members can know about their progress in working and realize their disadvantages weaknesses.
To begin with, criticism makes people to understand what they are really doing. To
be specific, people tend to think that they are doing right even though they
aren’t. So, it is needed to criticize team members to snatch them from these
illusions. By doing so, leaders can lead their
team members in right ways. Therefore, I believe that reviewing one’s others’ work and giving him them an objective review is an
important way to make success.
Moreover, criticism provides individuals
in a group not only with opinions on whether
they are doing well but also with a chance to grow up. To be specific, like I
said in the previous paragraph, people tend to neglect their flaws. So, I think
criticism on a person is also a good way to make
person him into a mature person. By
receiving criticism, we can rethink about ourselves from our abilities to our characteristics.
It may result in losing confidence, but if we overcome it properly, we can be
wiser than before. And then we can work in a mature way. For example, when I
was preparing doing for a group
presentation, my leader said told me that
I have had to have more team spirit, because I was such a person who was not did get along with team members. His words helped me
to change myself, and I still look up to him. Therefore, I think proper
criticism is the best way to improve one’s perspective and make a good
person.
To sum up, I strongly believe that criticism is the best
way when we make a good team for the following reasons: it can correct the
works in a right way and it’s a chance to acknowledge one’s flaws and change
oneself
