There
has been an argument regarding the issue of whether spending a lot of time on
cell, phone, online games, and social networking Web sites make children teach learn
with difficulty. Some people maintain that it will make children difficult
it difficult for children to concentrate on studying.
However, from my perspectives, I would say that the things are helpful
for children to study. I will present two reasons to support my ideas.
To begin with, playing online
games will help children improve their work performance. Enjoying online games
enables them to relax and recharge their batteries after a long day at work.
When they are recharged, they are likely to put in more effort to studying. For
example, when my younger sister was in high
school, she often felt depressed thinking that her life became an exhausted
routine. To survive in a competitive world, she spent the whole day studying
academic subjects, hoping that she could outdo others. Although she made
constant effort, it was not easy because everyone worked
as hard as she was did. Fortunately, she
was able to deal with such stress and pressure in a safe way by spending time with
playing online games.
By doing that, she showed a higher concentration on studying by letting off
some steam with online games. Without diversion
she would not achieved better results.
In addition, when people keep
in touch with friends though Social networking
Web sites, it can contribute to an increase in
their overall happiness. Social network services are
equipped with many functions help people contact with anytime, anywhere. These functions
tended to prevent them from feeling lonely in life. For instance, I had an
experiment regarding the relationship between
feeling lonely and focusing on their studying. I found that when people
felt lonely, it they will likely to have
a lower score on the Toefl Test. In particular, students who had contacted with
people more frequently showed a longer attention span, a higher passion in
their tasks and a better ability to delay their gratification. This implies
that spending time with Social network services is key to success.
In a nutshell, my
contention is that spending time on online games
and social network service can be helpful to educate students.
This is because we can be recharged and improving they improve our overall happiness. All in all the
importance of diversion cannot be overestimated.
