Thus, it is debatable whether people can learn to be a leader. However, I personally believe that it is possible to acquire some personalities to be a good leader. As we can improve our personalities such as responsibility and social skills by a lot of experiences such as sports games or visiting places, I think that to be learned to be a leader is not impossible. To begin with, we can enhance our responsibility by participating to a sports game. There are a lot of team sports include soccer, baseball, or basketball. In these sports, it is very important to show teamwork between members to get a specific goal. Therefore, it is obvious that playing their roles should be required to win a game for all members. For example, we can say that the key role for each members in baseball team is defending each position which is allocated for each members. Consequently, it is easy to say that we can improve our responsibility through playing hard in my position. This will help people who desire to be a leader in a group. In addition, visiting many spaces would help me to improve my social skills, which is important to leader, as well. To be specific, we can meet diverse people and talk about various topics throughout the traveling. Then, I can improve not only various knowledges, but also skills of speaking and listening to others. These two skills might assist me a lot when I have to lead a group discussing. Also, I can learn how to get along with new peoples, too. Therefore, it is safe to argue that visiting various places and meeting diverse people could encourage me to be a leader. In conclusion, we can take many personalities and values, which is essential to have, by a lot of experiences. Therefore, I strongly asserts that the features of leader can be gained after birth, rather than claiming that it is a born-gift. |
