▶ Your Answer : Recently, General awareness on the influence of young people has aroused a great deal. Correspondingly, the effect of young people has been a hot potato in many fields. While some people contends that young people cannot influence on future society , others deem otherwise. From my perspective, I am against this argument stand for following two reasons.
To begin with, even though a lot of young people are actually conflicting with social restriction because of their age, they are able to join groups such as Green Peace, which is for protection of nature. In fact, a lot of young people already joined such groups or union for protecting nature or helping others. In my case, I joined the group related with protection of nature environment. Although I was the youngest people in the group, I had a lot of chances to help another people. I made graphs that the transition of jungle's temperature what we wanted to protect, and it really helped them to protect nature. I totally believe that such activities are connected with the future society in terms of climate.
| Next, because of Internet's development, it is too ambiguous to determine the genuine mean of young people. In the Internet, virtually people cannot perceive how much they are young or how much they are old because of its anonymity. It means that young people who use the Internet as tools of expressing opinion can diffuse their thinking freely. For example, in South Korea, the prior government was destructed by public opinion especially made by young people. Even though they did not have suffrage and they are sometimes ignored by adult in reality, it was proved that they have super power on virtual space, and then, the power directly influenced on the future society.
To conclude, despite this subject will always remain controversial, I believe I have accurately demonstrated my point of view on this matter with two concise reasons and evidence stated above. Therefore, I definitely disagree with the statement that young people today have no influence on the future of society. |
