people think friends who are different is better than friends who are similar.
However, I believe that having a friends who are similar is better because you
can share common thinking with your friend and you will not get stress by
friend relationship.
To
begin with, friends who are similar can share common thinking with you. It is
important to have a friend who understand your mind and interact with you. By
having similar friend, you can say your opinion more easily. For example, my
best friend and I like same movie genre and music genre. We always go to watch
a movie together, and after watching, we talk about movie. Therefore, we can
interact each other easily. Similarly, we like same music genre so we often recommend
a song each other. We like to talk about our favorite singer’s album and sometimes
we go to a concert together.
On
top of that, you can get less stress by friend relationship if you have friends
who are similar with you. In this society, people get stress not only
physically but also mentally. There are so many things that you get stress
from. In this sense, friend relationship should not be your stress cause.
Having friends who are different from you may not understand you. Thus, you can
get much stress. For instance, when I was in high school, I had a friend who
was very different from me. She liked completely different music genre compared
to me. Also, she did not understand me why I like my favorite song. I was a big
fan of singer ‘Adele’ at that time, and my friend always ignored her and said “I
can’t understand you”. It was very stressful for me. I got so many stress with
my friend that my grade became lower. The next year, after changing the class,
I do not have to meet her. Therefore, I could get back on track.

sum up, friends who are similar with you can share common thinking with you. In
addition, friends who are different from you can be stress to you. In this
regard, I firmly believe that friends who are similar with you is better.
