Without doubt, owning a pet plays a significant role in people’s daily
lives in many of the places where they work or play. Some people think that
people spend too much money on their pets though there are many things on which
they should spent spend, while others do
not. Both sides may have their own reasons to support their own views. If I
were asked to choose one, I would say that it is okay for people to spend a lot
money on pets because they can learn valuable lessons from keeping pets. There
is a reason as follows.
Spending money on purchasing and taking care of pets helps people to
improve their sense of responsibility. Pet owners should feed, bathe, and clean
up to take care of their pets. When such obligations are fulfilled, they are
likely to realize that it brings about a better result for pet owners themselves and their pets.
For example, my brother used to be lazy and selfish. He has changed little by
little after he started to kept keep a
puppy. He spent one thousand dollars on owning a puppy and buying some
necessities for puppy it. However, he
could recognize important lessons. His punctuality about feeding and cleaning
tended to bring on happiness to his puppy and him, while his laziness could
make his puppy get sick. He became more punctual, played his part better, and even
volunteered for other abandoned dogs. Now, he takes new puppies more, spends
much money on them, but he is still responsible and an
excellent owner. Without this experience, he would still have been
irresponsible.
All things
considered, I strongly believe that the advantages of spending much money on
pets far outweigh those of investing money on other many things for the reason
I have mentioned above. All in all, the importance of taking care of pets
cannot be overestimated in pursuit of happiness in
life.
