▶ Your Answer : Some people think that the internet is the
best tool for academic performance. However, in my opinion, it is better to go
to the school for improving student's academic achievements. There are two
reasons. The first reason is that students can broaden their perspectives. The
other reason is that learning online is not good at having knowledge since
there are many temptations online.
First of all, If I attend the school with my
friends, my view will be able to broaden. Because, interacting with many friends
enables me to learn about cooperation and a sense of responsibility. Imagine
people have only textbook knowledge. Their perspectives will be narrow.
By attending class, we can not only learn
academic skills but also learn social skills. For example, my cousin Tom did
not attend the school. He learned some subjects like math, english using
internet. So, he had difficulties to get along with other people. However, last
year, he
decided to attend the high school. In
there, he could have many friends and learn about social skills. Thus, he is
convinced that his life is greatly enriched by going to school. It became a
turning point in his life.
Second, we do not focus on learning because of
many temptations. Suppose that you learn about how to writing efficiently using
internet in your home. Would it possible to concentrate on studying? The answer
will be no. The only key to study efficiently is to attend the school. A study
conducted by a group of education majors is
a good example of this. The researchers tracked the habits of people who take
some course online over a 3 year period in order to find out benefits of
studying online. What they found was intriguing. The people who studying online
instead of studying in the school usually has a low score in all subjects. The
reason was that they can eat something and enjoy playing games listening to the
lecture and thus they do not focus on studying.
To
sum up, going to the school enables students to learn about social skills.
Moreover, using internet has many temptation disturbing on studying. In this
regard, I firmly believe that attending the school is better |
