▶ Your Answer : Some people may say that to take care for a pet is the best way for young people to develop their responsibility. However, in my opinion, raising pets is not best way since this is not effective and rather than other ways are considered as the most acceptable methods. To begin with, to keep pets does not work to enhance children’s a sense of duty. This is because that most children could not care pets since they have to go to the school and are really busy to learn for academic performance. Plus most of them spend their time on attending outdoor activities and private academic institution in Korea. Thus, many tasks of keeping pets are parents works. For example, I will talk about my own experience to illustrate this point. my son always asked me to buy a dog. He firmly promised that he could take care a dog and take responsibility for all works about a dog. When we brought a puppy at home, at first he seemed that he made an effort. However, a few months later, he did not concern the puppy since he really had many assignments and did not have enough time to manage. This show that to raise a pet is eventually their parents shares and does not help to enhance children’s responsibility. On the top of that, there are a number of means to improve kids’ a sense of liability. In fact, to assign houseworks to them and to finish their projects are one of the good methods. Another options are available. There was a poll conducted by the Korea Broad of Education in 2012, with parents who have elementary school children as respondents. The purpose of a survey was to determine that to bring up pets could affect kid’s responsibility. What they found was intriguing. An overwhelming 85% parents replied that to manage a pet was not helpful to develop a sense of their offsprings’ duty. Instead of, alternative activities was beneficial for them. This proves that another activities such as helping household affairs and completing their important homework on their own, are more advantageous than anything else for children.
To sum up, there are plenty of options to intensify responsibility. and most parents care their pets instead of kids. Therefore, I strongly believe that caring for a pet is not the best way. |
