People’s intellectual, social and personal
development are highly influenced by taking risks or changes. With this
understanding, I believe that it is important for people to take risks or
changes in order to achieve success in their life. This is because taking risks
or changes enables people to live happier lives and enjoy a better quality of
life in terms of job opportunities.
Firstly,
taking risks or changes in life makes people to live happier lives, which
results that people can enjoy successful life. Understanding the daily social environment
of the people and the potential role of the activities that take risks or
changes is necessary to substantiate this view. For instance, by diverting from
the mundane, people have to the opportunities to encounter new activities to
increase their life satisfaction. For instance, travelling to new destinations
of having challengeable outdoor activities such as rock-climbing has
psychological benefits. It helps to detract focus from job stress and personal
issues all the while generating self-confidence and motivation from completing
a new challenge. In other words, having experience of taking risks or changes
on their daily life provides the convenience for people to seek diversions that
invoke feelings of pleasure, happiness and satisfaction. In this regard, I
argue that taking risks or changes in life allows people to live happier lives,
so they can enjoy successful life.
Secondly,
taking risks or changes in life makes people to enjoy a better quality of life
in terms of job opportunities. Interestingly, a renowned social scientist in
South Korea published an article in “The Korean Herald” last Tuesday which
claims that taking risks or changes in life enables people to strengthen competitiveness
in society. The article added claims that the 83 percent of 200 Korean leading
recruiters prefer people who proper taken risks or changes in their life. The
recruiters show a such tendency because they tend to be more challenging and
creative. In the long run, challenging attitude of working and creative mindset
enhance work performance. This is because they continuously endeavor to find
more beneficial solutions against work problems and can take better action in
unexpected situations, which result in job promotion and ultimately help people
to be successful in their life. I thought of this report because the results of
the survey resonated with my thoughts.
To
sum up, I believe that people should take risks or change in order to success
in their life for two following reasons:
living happier lives and enjoying a better quality of life in terms of job
environment. Consequently, the importance of my view cannot be underestimated
for the reasons I have mentioned above.
