▶ Your Answer :
In the
past, some people would have thought that studying hard is the most important
thing for students. As time passes, people’s view has changed, and a lot of
people think that students also need to pay attention such as being healthy and
learning some sports. Therefore, I totally agree that universities should spend
as much money on sports as they do on libraries.
To begin
with, playing sports can prevent students’ health problems. These days, most
students study extremely hard, especially undergraduate students. It means they
spent a lot of time sitting on a chair and not moving around. Consequently, it
makes large number of students unhealthy and sick. Many of them might suffer
from neck and back disk. They also could get fat because they don’t have time
to move around and work out. If universities build more sports facilities and
encourage students to play some sports, number of unhealthy students will
hugely decrease. Also, if students are healthy and have enough energy to work
on their studies, their outcome would be more successful and satisfactory.
Furthermore,
sports can be the best way for students to reduce their stress and feel happy.
As modern society became very busy and competitive, many students are under a
lot of pressure and stress. They don’t even have enough time to enjoy their own
life, but keep pushing themselves to study hard to get better grades and better
life. Thus, they need something to relax themselves, and playing sports can be
the best solution for them. As they are just students, they don’t have enough
time and money to go to the gym and pay for it, so universities should offer
more sports facilities and invest in the gym for the students.
To
summarize, students can interact with their friends and other people while
playing sports and working out. Also, their body would be fit. These are why I
would say that universities should spend much money on sports. |
