▶ Your Answer :
There
are some disagreements over whether or not an effective leader should have the
ability to heard others opinions and incorporate their opinions. Some people
believe that a leader should make right decision that most of people can
acknowledge. My view, however, is that an effective leader should decide sometimes
without including and hearing others ideas. This is because there is reduced
time to discuss. Moreover, a leader's ability to decide takes priority over
other's that.
To
begin with, a leader cannot waste valuable time, and even a leader is able to
take appropriate action rapidly. Each person has different and a wide variety
of ideas on certain issue, which makes it difficult for a leader to make a decision
in a fast manner. This is due to the fact that a leader should understand each
person that has different idea to amalgamate into one conclusion. A leader
would continue to discuss to make right decision. For example, Franklin D
Roosevelt who was the president in U.S resolved the stagnated economy. Most of
the citizen in U.S suffered from the exacerbated economy because they were hard
to make some money to live. Roosevelt went the extra mile to solve the problem
as fast as possible. Thus, Roosevelt enacted the policy called as New Deal
policy on his own. With the rapid his decision, the citizen suffered from the
aggravated economy could overcome and improve the quality of life.
In
addition, a leader is more intelligent than others. If members of certain group
have less capability and experience, the decision reflected by them is possible
to be wrong and be ineffective to solve a problem. In the contrary, there is
high possibility that the solution inspired by talented person is more
effective and economical, which is because a leader has a wide range of
knowledge and experience rather than members. For instance, Margaret Thatcher
called as "Iron Lady" associated with her uncompromising polities and
leadership style. She solved the economic problem that caused the quality of
life to be vitiated by forcing flexible labor markets and reducing the power
and influence of trade. This was because she believed her ability in connection
with the economy and she thought her ability was far more intelligent than
others. As a result, her decision was helpful to overcome the worsen economy.
