▶ Your Answer : An intriguing topic of discussion at hand is that exploring outer space conducted by the government should be stopped. The answer of this question may vary greatly depending on individual perspectives. However, as far as I concerned, I thoroughly disagree with this statement because it can contribute to the advance of the science and the technology. In addition, people's needs can be fulfilled from other ways. In this essay, I will explore two reasons to support my opinion.
The first reason for my opinion that can be
seen by every person is that exploring outer space leads the development of technology and science in its nation. According to the survey by the Ministry of Korea Science and Technology, the technology produced while exploring outer space is adopted in many other fields and ultimately has improved our daily lives. For example, new materials used for making spaceship make cars lighter and faster. In addition, exploring outer space has advanced the robot technology and it makes a company produce much more products in a short time. In this sense, government should invest on researching other space because it can cause the advance of technology.
The last and most noteworthy reason is that most problems is not due to a lack of resource. In other word, Most their needs can be fulfilled by other ways. For instance, the cause of poverty is not the lack of money but the problem of food distribution. According to the research conducted by the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO), even though thirty-five percent of African suffer from extreme poverty, the nations of the America and Europe waste a huge amount of foods because there is no storage for surplus foods. In addition, other many problems such as educational inequality and income imbalance is caused by a wrong government policy. In this sense, I think people's basic needs can be achieved with exploring outer space.
As started above, I totally believe that government should spend a huge amount of money to research outer space because it can develop science and technology. In addition, the basic needs of people can be fulfilled with the exploration of outer space.
