▶ Your Answer : Some people might say that job satisfaction and the relationship with colleagues are the most important factor to choose a job in contemporary society. However, in my opinion, I firmly believe that the first priority to get a job is the annual income for the following two subsequent reasons.
To begin with, money is the most crucial part of a job in modern society. To be specific, most people put their top priority in annual salary when searching for jobs. That is natural for us to become an affuenlt life by getting more money. This is because people earning ten millions per year are the object of envy and they tend to own expensive cars and houses. In addition, a high salary can reduce the worrries about money by having extra money. In general, labors making a living with lower incomes per months suffer from their living cost such as rent fees, food expenses and cost of education for thier children. Therefore, the more salary people earn, the more possibility they can enjoy the abundence of material supplies, education and life.
On top of that, salaries are proportional to one's ability. Some others might not strongly agree with the statement of the correlation between salaries and the ability. However, generally speaking, lawyers, creative workers and specialists with a high salary have a tendency to have exceptional abilities while working in laws, medicines and other professional fields. For example, there was a survey conducted by Ministy of Labor, with 300 office workers. The purpose of the survey was to figure out what they thought about the relationship between salaries and abilities. What it found was astounding. Overwhelming 90% responded that a job with a high salary were required by doing more stressful, difficult and responsible work with great efforts and abilities. Therefore, more salaries are regarded as rewards for people having exceptional abilities.
To sum up, taking the two aspects of a job with a high salary into cosideration, it is clearly that a high salary plays a pivotal role in choosing a job. In this regard, I strongly believe that an highly paid occupation far outweighs other counterparts.
