towards young children have emerged. I believe this current
money-oriented situation would be harmful on the young children and our
society. The following two examples reasons
can be the valid evidence of my standpoint. First, an the age of under five years
old is very important biologically for children.
Second, this is too commercial because young children cannot think properly.
From a biological point of
view, the age of under five is critical for children in many aspects such as
personality, habits and so on. Moreover,
it is very well-known that habits from young ages are very difficult to be changed. Hence,
these ages are is crucial for their life.
Therefore, it should be banned to advertise directly
toward these ages because children in these ages are so sensitive that thorough
protection by their family is needed.
Commonly, a human can think
properly after they are mentally matured. Thus, publicizing commercialism towards
young children before mental maturation is problematic. Although the free trade system is prevalent over the world, these special cases require national regulation.
Otherwise, the world would be too competitive and become difficult to find
happiness.
To sum up, the protection of children
under five is essential because this age is a biologically important period.
Second, the too excessive commercial
advertisement should be banned because it would bring adverse effects on our
society. In this regard, we should not allow advertising toward children under
the age of five.
