▶ Your Answer : Some people think that students should do homework that is provided daily. However, in my opinion, students have right to study freely without worrying about homework. This is mainly due to studying style and attention for other activities.
To begin with, too much regulation on student's studying style would not be helpful for raising their own skills. Many students have their individuality and unique style on studying. However, if teachers force students to do assignments in regular form, students will lose their freedom and cannot study for their own skills. Eventually, it would be the reverse effect.(reverse effect가 일어나서 창의력을 잃는 것인지/생각의 자유가 사라지는 것인지 구체적으로 작성해주세요) For example, in my high school, I had to solve one chapter everyday for homework. It meant I had to finish one book within seven days. How hard it was! As a result, I chose to copy the answer instead of studying for real, and I could not study math enough. On top of that, homework that is provided daily prevents students from attending other activities. Students should be ensured to choose activities according to their interest. However, because of the homework, they deprive time to commit for other things such as sports. For example, I had a friend who wanted to become a flight attendant. She was passionate and had a talent. However, teachers let her to do assignments everyday. She was running out of time to learn skills to become a fight attendant. Unfortunately, she was rejected to have an interview although she had high grade on academic performance. (왜 거절당했는지; 구체적인 스킬을 공부할 시간이 없었기 때문이지 등 자세한 이유를 작성해주세요)
To sum up, teachers should understand that homework is not only a method to raise ability to study. Moreover, teachers need to ensure that students can have interest in other activities. In this regard, homework on daily basis is not always beneficial for students.
