▶ Your Answer :
Certainly,
school life plays a significant role in students’ daily lives in many of the
places where they live or study. Some people think that it is better for
students to go to school for more than 11 months throughout the year, while
others do not. Both sides may have their
own reasons to support their views. If I were asked to choose one, I would
say that students benefit more from taking
some break than studying 11 months throughout the year. There are several
reasons as follows.
To begin
with, when students go to school and study 11 months without break, it can
negatively affect their academic performance. Studying throughout the year
cannot allow them to relax and recharge their batteries. Also, this cannot
enable them to put in more effort to their studies. In contrast,
taking some break during school life can help them reflesh themselves and let
off some steam. This is likey to bring a better result in school. For example,
when my sister was in high school, she often felt depressed thinking her life
became an exhausting routine. She spent the whole day and year studying all
academic subjects hoping she could outdo others. Although she made constant
effort, it was not easy because everyone was working as hard as she was.
Unfortunately, she has changed little by little after feeling exhausted and
tired from after a long day at school. She got distracted easily, procrastinated.
Luckily, she was able to deal with her pressure and stress after transferring another school for her
studies. A new school made a rule that students was able to take a break for 2
months. She was able to travel other counties for refleshing herself. After
traveling she was able to refocus more on her studies and actively participate
in her classes because she had more energy to put into studying and being
active. If she had not taken a break during school life, she would have fallen
behind.
All things
considered, I firmly believe that the advantages of refleshing themselves far
outweigh those of studying 11 months throughtout the year for the reasons I
have mentioned above. In this regard, the importance of break cannot be
overestimated the persuit of success
in school.
