As we enter the 21 entering 21th century, the technologies are developing constantly, even on marketing sector. As the technology developed, companies use various types of advertisements. It has been widely debated whether the advertisements products looks better than the original ones. In my opinion, I firmly believe that the products in the advertisements are definitely better than what they really are. There are two following reasons for my assertion.
First, it is companies' role to make consumers to purchase their products in the advertisements. Businesses produce their products more attractive. Besides, they did not want consumers to find disadvantages of their products. Hence, companies only focus on showing make their advertisements only about the advantages of their products through ads. Once consumers bought their products they will eventually find some disadvantages of the products. For example, the hamburger advertisement can demonstrate my argument. When they advertise a burger, they show a huge slice of meat and lots of other ingredients in the burger to make people to buy their burger. However, if consumer go to eat a same burger from the advertisement, it looks quite different. It actually has a smaller size of meat and poor ingredients in it.
Second, some food advertisement are not using real foods. (Similar contents with the first example) They made up with something to looks like their food. (What does that mean?) For instance, in the ice cream advertisement, they are not using real one ice cream. Because when they make advertisement, ice cream got melt easily from the light and some dust stick to the ice cream. Due to these reasons, they made something which looks like ice cream. Also, they put some oils on the food to look shine. (Better mention "make an imitation with the imaging tech or sth)
Therefore, most advertisement looks better than what consumers really get because advertisements only shows the advantages of the products and some advertisement products are not real.
