Various
opinions may exist over the argument that people attend college or university
for many different reasons. The two ideas below can be a valid evidence to
support my view. I think people go to school because their career and
communication.
To
begin with, in my country, Korea, people usually go to a college for their
career. They often have advantages when they promote or take a pay. For
example, many Korean companies discriminate between community college students
and four-year-course college students. Especially, community college students
cannot promote earlier than the latter students. Also, they earn a low wage
compared with the latter. This proves that people have to go to a college for
their career in Korea.
Secondly,
for their communication with other students, they go to a college. Actually, if
we go to a school, we can communicate with others. We can make good
relationships with seniors and professors. This would be a great help to them
in the future when they get a job or encounter danger. In addition, they can
get much information from their seniors and professors. For example, I entered
a club which has English discussion. A senior provided some competition on
national English convention. So I took part in the convention and I won a prize.
These are the reasons why I think that.
In
conclusion, people usually go to a college or university not only for their
career but for communication with various people. Furthermore, I personally
think that people have to go to school for their successful life.
