To begin with, we need to broaden
our perspectives for global era. If we have a chance to travel foreign countries,
we can learn more many things, such as meeting people who are from different countries,
visiting tourist attraction where we are able to learn histories, and eating
various foods. A thousand hearings are not worth one seeing. Therefore, we are
able to broaden our viewpoint by traveling foreign countries. For example, when
I was a elementary student, I went to field trip to the States for two months.
I met friends who were born in America and France. By sharing many different cultures,
opinions, and thoughts, I learned that how to understand the difference. In my
countries, when we meet first meet, we ask
about the job and age. However, it can be rude behavior in other countries. I
could learn this different cultures by
meeting them. Moreover, I visited Chicago and I could learned about the American
architecture in the 1920s. The buildings that I only saw in pictures was really
different from the one I saw in person.
In addition, people can learn foreign
languages by meeting native speaker. When they visit the foreign countries, there
are more chances to use the foreign language than visit one's country. Then,
they can improve their language skills. For example, When I was a college student,
I went to the France. Actually, I have learned French for 5 years, but there
were no chance to use French. When I traveled the France, there were many
situations that I had to use French. I had to ask the directions when I lost, the
price of products and foods at the restaurant. After traveling France, I felt that
French was improved. If I don't visit France, my French would have fall behind.
For these reasons, I strongly
agree that it is beneficial to travel foreign countries that to travel one's
own. Because, If we travel one's countries, there are no chance to use foreign languages,
and there are less opportunities to meet many people who were from different
regions and cultures. Therefore, I think we have to travel foreign countries than
to travel one's own.
