▶ Your Answer :
It is debatable whether it is beneficial
for children to grow up in rural areas than in big cities. This is an intriguing
question because opinions regarding this issue can be different, relying on
individual perspectives. In my opinion, however, I support that it is better
for children to grown up in big cities than in rural areas for the following
reasons. First, big cities provide children with good education, and second, living
in big cities broadens children’s viewpoints. First
and foremost, growing up in big cities is good for children because it
associates with an educational process. In other words, children can have more
opportunities of high quality education such as meeting proficient instructors
and going to famous academies when living in big cities, which as a result
allows them to obtain knowledge, stay ahead, and attain personal growth. On the
other hand, most rural areas lack good-quality institutes as they have less
population and low demands for education. For instance, when I was young, I
lived in Seoul, the biggest city in my country. Since there were many famous
institutes in the city, I was able to learn the knowledge from experienced
teachers. This helped me to study hard and increase my academic performance. If
I had been grown up in rural areas, I could not have received good-quality
instructions and not have improved my academic skills. This example shows that
living in big cities can help children to get a great education. On top
of that, living in big cities is helpful for children because it broadens their
viewpoints. To be specific, as children’s perspectives are affected by the people
they meet, and there are many people in big cities, children can expand their
views living in big cities. Mingling with various kinds of people would help
children better understand other perspectives, cultures, and lifestyle, which
as a result allows them to develop global perspectives. For example, my nephew’s
story can improve my point. He is sixteen years old and living in Gongju, one
of the rural areas in my country. As there are less residents in the area, he
cannot meet a wide range of people, which allows him to make a limited scope of
connection. After moving to Seoul, he had hard time understanding others’
thought. If he had lived in Seoul when he was young, he would have absorbed
different viewpoints well. This demonstrates that living in rural areas can
prevent children from developing their wide perspectives. In
conclusion, I firmly believe that it is better for children to grow up in big
cities than in rural areas. All things considered, it is my belief that my
argument concerning this issue has been efficiently and precisely delivered
with the reasons mentioned above. Never should we forget that this issue may
have a significant impact on our future. |
