▶ Your Answer : In order to improve the lives' quality of people, governments consider how much money they invest to each field. Unfortunately, if they put much money on the one field, it cannot help avoiding put less money on the other field. When it comes to the internet and the public transportation, I believe governments must spend more money on the internet. To start with, Internet became the most crucial thing in our lives. It relate to many fields on society, so it is no more optional tool. On the contrary, the importance of public transportation getting decreased. For example, when I was a businessman in Seoul, the most crowded city in Republic of Korea, many people packed in the city during the day and night. And it caused severe traffic jam so I was always in trouble when I have to go out on business. Public transportations was not my solution because it did not provide the fastest way to my destination. To solve out the problem, my team tried to transfer the physical meeting to the online meeting with the customers. Wherever and whenever the internet can be accessible, we hold the meeting and it decreased our wasting time on the road. On top of that, the number of the car owner have been increased. In other word, the number of people who take a public transportation is diminished. This phenomenon will lasting in the future, and it means the significance of the public transportation must be decreased in the future. When I was young, the car owner was not much like today. What I remember is the family of the friends of mine had only one car at each family. At that time, buses and subways were always crowded especially on the rush hours. These days, for some reasons, there are at least two cars at a family. Several days ago, I had a chance to take a bus in the morning and I found out that the rush hours is no more exists. In a nutshell, in terms of the budget of the nation, governments have to decide carefully. In this regard, I think the internet contribute our lives as an important tool and the public transportation is no more useful. So I firmly believe that governments should invest much more money to make the access of the internet than to improve public transportation.
