Some people think that tidy rooms help
students to achieve greater success, while others cast doubts on it. In my opinion,
whether the room is clean or not is not a critical matter for students’ success
for two reasons, which I will explore in the following essay.
First of all, the effect of the room
condition varies from a person to person. Some students are best in studying in
the tidy rooms, whereas others prefer the messy circumstances. It means that
each student has their own place where they can concentrate on studying with
the maximum efficiency. For instance, Einstein was famous not only for his
remarkable accomplishment in physics, but for his messy desk. When a reporter
had an interview with Einstein, he asked how he was able to focus on work in
such an unorganized condition. Einstein answered that all ideas were in his
brain and the messy desk was not the matter he had to consider for his work.
In addition to this, tidying rooms are sometimes
time-consuming. It can take time which students can invest in their studying.
My personal experience is a compelling example. I had a friend who always cleared
up and tidied her desk in class. She loved to put her belongings in the right
place before starting studying. The problem was that the purpose of the
cleaning was actually for procrastinating, not for better concentration on her
study. She felt exhausted after tidying up her desk, and had a difficult time
focusing on study. Therefore, it is obvious that the tidy room helps students
to accomplish a better result.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that the tidy
room condition is not a critical reason for students’ success. It is because some
students like to study in the tidy rooms, while others do not, and tidying
rooms are sometimes time-consuming. |
