It is debatable whether parents are so busy that they have become more concerned about their children in recent years. This is an intriguing question because opinions can be different depending on the individual perspectives. However, in my opinion, I disagree with the statement for two reasons. To begin with, parents are busy. To be specific, they spend a lot of time in their work to earn more salary to support their family. So they do not have enough time to educate their children. For example, There is one of my friends’ experiences. When Mary was ten years old, her parents were too busy to meet her because their works were finished late. Thus, they were not able to involve Mary’s education and school life. Therefore, her grade was very low since she never did homework, any assignments and also she did not study for a year. This argues that parents who use a lot of time in working are less likely to educate their children. On top of that, there is more ample way for education without parents’ help. Because of the enhancement of the education system. the internet, television, and school offer a wide and profound range of knowledge. So, children do not need a parent’s involvement in their study anymore. For example, when my grandmother’s childhood, the learning system was not yet developed so she was educated by their parents. But, there is more education tool in today’s society than my grandmother’s generation. Thus, my parents do not concern my learning. This claims that more educational program was appeared than before. To sum up, parents spend time more on working for their family. Moreover, extensively developed education system gives the students knowledge. In this regard, I strongly disagree with the statement. |
