The lecturer argues that the thesis of reading passage is not enough to be acknowledge, presenting three supportings account for contradiction. This is because the lecturer does not agree with the author's statement that ancient egyptian pyramids built with concrete by their advanced molding technique of concrete.
Firts of all, the author asserts that egyptian vases are obvious evidence suppoting ancient egyptian pyramids constructed by molding concretes. This is because these vases seemed to be made by concrete molding technique.
However, the author's claim is refuted by the lecturer's insists that this evidence is not enough to be accepted. Due to that it is more likely to be misleading about ancient egyptian vases. These vases seem to be made by carving rather than by molding concrete. To be specific, the vases were carved from two parts of symetric shaped pieces and then these were pasted each other to be single vase.
On Top of that, the author insists that air bubbles and low density discovered at the surface of stones of pyramid is suppoting author's thesis that pyramid made up with concretes.
In contrary, this is countered by lecturer's assertion that the concretes materials dicovered at the surface of the pyramid is added for restoring in recent centuries.
Finally, the author claims that high level of humidity within stones of the egyptian pyramids attributed from concretes, which could be included moisture during molding process.
Yet, this hypothesis are opposed by the lecturer argument that the reason why a lot of moisture have neen injected into the stones of pyramis is human activity, exhale. To be specific, when people exhale, there are tremendous of humidity included. Thus, as long time passed, countless people visited in egyptian pyramid. It would cause to increase humidity level of the stones consisting of pyramid. |
