▶ Your Answer : Some people might argue that students should use the internet to learn more information in a short period time. However, contrary to this idea, I strongly believe that first hands learning experience have a positive impact on students. The fundamental reason behind this is that learning knowledge by using the internet can be easily more forgotten than learning it by oneself and decrease students` learning efficiency.
First of all, learning in person is more memorable than learning by exploring the internet. This is mainly because information from internet can be readily forgotten. However, learning information by oneself requires students to use all five senses ranging from sight to touch, which activate not only a brain but also a body. Thus, such a lively experience helps students to remain etched in mind.
Moreover, learning from the internet plays a negative role in students` learning efficiency. An important reason is that learning by using the internet provide students with words, and some images, which sometimes bore us. In contrast, knowledge by oneself will help students feel and see everything which they want. According to the research conducted by Seoul National University in 2012, two groups of students showd the difference in acamedic archievement. Students in group A learned science information by themselves and those in group B learned it by using the internet. The result showed that the latter group perfomed higher thatn the former group, and they participated in our learning more enthusiastically.
In conclusion, without any doubt, I am convinced that learning from internet is not helpful for students. This is because it can be easiy forgotten and derease students` learning motivation. |
