Although televiision adverting directed ttoward chidren under age of five may cause problems, it is necessary for parents to get a lot of information. Indeed, there are few sources for children under age of five to acquire knowledge and information. Thus, television advertising is desperately needed in a way of getting a lot of information. A recent survey carried out by Oxford University, the two thirds of respondents felt that they could mine out information through television advertising when they buy something for children under age of five. With the help of television advertising, they could get well informed.
Second, television advertising enables us to get the latest information and knowledge. In our rapidly-changing society, we experience struggles to catch up with a huge volumes of newly released information. Specifically, it is crucial that we need to get the latest information and knowledge about children under age of five. In my case, i researched information to buy a present for my daughter who is 2 years old. I logged on the Internet, but I couldn't find the lates information. However, I fortunately could find the best new item through television advertising.
In conclusion, as seen in the two reasons presented above, I strongly argrue that television advertising directed toward children under age of five shoul be allowed.
