1. Some people like to travel with a companion. Other people prefer to travel alone. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your choice.
Personally, traveling was, and still is something I love look forward to, since I am fond of experiencing novelties and feeling the beauties of them in person. The thing is that when planning to take a trip, I had to consider between taking a friend and traveling alone. In fact, my answer was to take a companion all the time, and I believe it was a nice decision to make.
The best advantage of traveling with someone else is that one never gets lonely while taking a trip. Making a journey alone, person would be capable of wandering around a site freely and be deeply immersed in the beauty of the spot in solitude. With no one to chat with in bustling restaurants or public transportations, he or she could feel loneliness by suddenly understanding there’s one to listen to whatever he talks, in other words, interact with in a comfortable mood-from his appreciation of the places one has visited to some concerns or complaints one has got during the trip. As a following result, this could turn one’s trip somehow gloomy.
Secondly, traveling in groups can make the trip more secure. I can hear about egregious crimes taking place all over the world, including small burglaries to huge terrorisms. Hence, the importance of security is getting more attention from lots of travelers, and the degree of the wariness grows higher when they are weaker members consisting of the society. In this case, a companion that would be traveling every place together would make one feel safer, and thereby make the trip more enjoyable and comfortable. For instance, my friend once took a trip with her schoolmate. One day, her pulse was at the risk of being stolen when she wasn’t even aware of it, and fortunately, her companion had noticed it. With the help of him, she was able to get out of the situation well.
To sum up, having a companion to travel with will be favorable because the trip would be safer and more joyful with a companion sitting next to oneself. For these reasons, I believe traveling with someone else would be better than traveling alone. |
