Some people think that children should not learn how to manage money in order to become financially responsible adults. However, in my opinion, advantages of learning manage children’s money far outweigh those of disadvantages so as to become financially responsible adults for two reasons: to have a more comprehensive understanding of life and to appreciate the value of money. To begin with, knowing how to deal with money allows children to learn the value of life lessons. This is because if people learn the useful method of handling money when they were young, they would be bound to grow a responsible adults. Moreover, gaining accustomed saving habits is very important for children to become a great adults who has keep desirable duties. Even though child don’t know the managing method about money now, it is fine because they can start right now since it will help them to learn worth of life lessons through manage their money. For example, after failing multiple times to pass the exam to become an great dealer, my sister became extremely discouraged. Most of her friends advised her to pursue a different career, she got soon became stressed about her professional future. Actually, she didn't know how to manage her money, because she has never done it before-Frankly speaking, she has grown wasteful girl. Meanwhile, my parents advised her to continue to save money and try to save her own small money first. To encourage her to stick with her goal, they told her stories how they overcame failures in their own lives especially in terms of money troubles. Because of their advice, my sister rose to the challenge and passed her problem and finally became a great dealer last year. On top of that, learning the advantageous ways of managing money plays a significant role in appreciating the value of money. This is due to the fact that. most of the people when they were small kids, they must be received the money from their parents, so they were hard to know the money’s real value and how to use the money efficiently. However, if children take lessons by special experience, it will be easy to them about learning the money’s value reversely after growing adults. In this sense, It is crucial for growing children. For instance, I worked at a fast-food restaurant when I was seventeen to make a money to buy a new computer. I made only four dollars an hour doing exhausting work, such as moving heavy boxes of ingredients and washing dirty dishes and mopping the floors. However, through this work experience, I learned the value of money and became much more careful about spending my parents’ hard-earned money. To sum up, children benefits more from learning how to manage money to become financially responsible adults than others. This is attributed to the fact that they could learn valuable life lessons as well as worth of money. In this regard, I strongly agree with the statement that children should learn how to manage money for the reasons I mentioned above. |
