▶ Your Answer : There has been an argument regarding the issue that a teacher should give students self-confidence than to provide them with specific information. There are myriads of people who insist that a teacher should give self-esteem for their students rather than specific information. Although, from my perspective, It is more essential to provide students with detailed information for several reasons below. Flrst of all, if a teacher gives specific information to their students, it is very helpful to find their aptitudes. Usually, young students do not know their talents and characters, hence they feel hard to find their true aptitudes. In this situation, If they get merely self-confidence, they might waste their precious time for doing something stupid such as playing internet game or riding a bike. Consequently, students with detailed information could find their own talents and aptitudes easily. Furthermore, they could sincerely get to know what they want to be in the future and what they should do for thier life time of goals. For example, when I was highschool student, my teacher always praised me that I could be a anything I want to. So, I joined highschool soccer team because at that time my dream was to be a famous soccer player. Unfortunately, I later realized that my aptitude is music not soccer, hence I quit the soccer team and joined the music band, I just lost 3 months of time. Secondly, giving specific information to students could prevent juvenile delinquents. If students get suitable information for themselve, they could realize that they are fully respected. This feeling is very important to yong students and it makes them to concentrate on their study or other things they should do. To demonstrate, a research conducted by Korea University contends that students who get the specific infirmationfrom their teacher nomally shows higher grades and more positive attitudes than students who get the old fashion of education which is one teacher teaches many students in one way system. Moreover, these students are not deviated in comparion with the students in old fashioned school less than 40 percent. This resultseasily verify that students who get specific information are more successful in their school life and also not to be deviated. To sum up, I strongly believes that most important thing for students is to give them detailed information. It is because helpful to find sutents' aptitudes and to prevent juvenile delinquents. |
