When I was a teenager girl, my room was always messy. My mother always
said to me, "Make your room always be clean, that means you can manage yourself." I can guess whether you can reach your own goal or not by just watching your room's condition. It was real. After I care my room to be always clean, my
grades increased and I finally entered one of good universities I have dreamed
of. Now I am telling how my life has changed from maintaining a neat and clean
room in detail.
First, I learned how to organize stuffs
from keeping a neat room. I was the person who just put anything into any box
for cleaning room. After I came to know that it makes me hard to find where the
stuff I want to find is, I tried to arrange stuffs by considering the
importance of stuffs. It not only made my room be well-organized, but also
helped my study. Actually, I was not good at note taking because I tried to
note all things without organization. From the day that I started to think
about what is more important and what is less important, my note taking have
been getting better.
Second, a neat room brings a pleasant
environment to do tasks, and it really helps concentrating on study. Messy room
used to scatter my sight. Because the fact that I could reach out various
study-interrupting factors like comic books, a cellular phone easily, study
with deep concentration always did not last long. Keeping a neat room means
that there are no interruptions on the desk while studying. My duration time
for focusing on study improved naturally, by getting rid of such obstacles.
Improved note-taking skills and study
concentration finally enabled me to stand at honors class. Therefore, I succeed to enter
the university I wanted to attend. Looking back my experiences, my well-arranged room has helped me save my time and study without any interruptions. In regards, I believe a clean, neat room ultimately helps students' grade, which is the best influential thing to succeed.
