There is an argument over whether most business people are motivated entirely by money. Some might argue that most business people are motivated entirely by money. However, in my view, it is not true that most business people are motivated entirely by money. There are several reason that I could support my argument so I will limit my discussion to the two that I feel are the most relevant to the topic. First, there are exceptions. Also, money is not important. To begin with, the most important reason for my feeling this way is that not all of business people are motivated by money. There are certain cases where business people are not motivated by other factors. This remind me of the time when I was graduate student. I made restaurant with my friends in front of my campus. I made it for learning about many things such as marketing and management, because my friends and I were major in MBA. It was effective way to learn management. It was really valuable for me more than money. As my experience shows that not most business people are motivated entirely by money because of exceptions. Moreover, another reason which proves my point is that money is not important. Commonly in society, money is not tend to be the most important thing in our everyday lives. There are many more valuable things than money. A really good example can be seen in Minhan Kim. I read online that Kim, the CEO of CS company, transformed his company one of the most profitable software enterprises in Korea. He donated more than twenty million dollars for poor people even though when his company was not profitable. He could donate much money because he had passionate on helping other, not earn money. This example clearly shows that not most business people are motivated by money because there are many other valuable things more than money. To summarize, I believe that most business people are not motivated exclusively by money on the grounds that there are exceptions and money is not important. |
