▶ Your Answer : Some people think
that eating out is better than eating at home. I disagree with this opinion
because it is often wasting time and costs much money.
To begin with, eating out needs more
time than eating at one’s house. First, we have to go to the restaurant and
wait for the foods. After we eat, we pay for the foods and come back to the
house. These processes need much more time than eating at home where we can
stay and just cook. For example, I was hungry and wanted to eat chicken soup.
Although I had the ingredients in my house, I went to the soup restaurant,
which took 20 minutes to go. Since there were many people in the restaurant, I
had to wait for 30 minutes. Totally, it took one and a half hour to eat a dish
of the soup. After then, I tried to make a chicken soup for myself and it took
only 30 minutes from making it to eating it. This shows how dining out significantly
waste our time.
On top of that, dining out
costs much money. If we drive, it costs fuel price. Moreover, there are many
added rates on the food such as service fees and taxes. However, in home, we
only need the ingredients and some basic resources such as water and gas which
would totally cost much less than eating out. For instance, when my family eats
pork at home, it needs only 12 dollars to buy enough meat and vegetables. A
month ago, however, we went to the pork restaurant and we pay 40 dollars for similar
amount of meat with what we had in the house.
To sum up, eating out costs much more money
and time than eating at home. For this reason, I think cooking for ourselves in
the house is better idea than dining out.
