▶ Your Answer :Some people might say that luck has much influence on one's success rather than hard work. Virtually, there are people who succeed through his or her luck, such as winning a lottery. However, as far as I am concerned with this topic, I strongly believe that hard work is way more important than luck, for such following reasons.
First and the foremost, hard work is way promising than luck. There aren't many people who have won a lottery. There is only one person who can get hugh amount of money through lottery. Not only a lotteryy, but also in other cases. there aren't many lucky people. If there are many lucky people around the world, there wouldn't be any social failures, which is 40% of today's society. On the other hand, one's success in practically guaranteed, for those who worked hard. For example, I worked hard on last year's final exam, and I got all A+, which made me realize this fact.
Secondly, There is this well-known saying, 'No pain, no gain.' I am adhered to this maxim, since I realized that it is true. When I was in middle school, I didn't study hard. Sometimes I even failed the exam. Then, when I entered a high school, I devoted myself to studying. Until then, I had a fixed idea that I can make a good guess on the test, even if I don't prepare for the test. However, It was not true, and I realized that studying hard is the best solution for me in getting higher score on the examination. I studied really hard. Eventually a years later, I could be one of top 5 students in whole grade.
For the reasons above, I strongly believe that hard work has to do more with success rather than a luck. Even if one is lucky, If he doesn't work hard, he would consequently fail. What is success? I think it is a mixture of having a flair for the thing that you are doing; knowing that it is not enough, that you have got to have hard work and a certain sense of purpose. |
