▶ Your Answer : A few days ago, I read the news that the Voyager three, which is a probe sent to the universe about thirty years ago for the purpose of exploring the Jupiter and Saturn, is passing through the frontier of our solar system. After the machine successfully achieved its goal, it continued to travel around the universe passing by other planets such as the Uranus and Neptune. Thanks to the expedition this probe has made, we were able to know more about our solar system. The issue here is whether we have to invest our capitals into looking into our outer world or spend the money into ameliorating our lives on Earth. In my opinion, we should keep putting our funds into exploring the universe, and my veiw can be greatly substantiated because the outcomes accomplished from developing technologies related to the universe until now prove to be useful in our daily life and stepping in to the unknown exterior world satisfies human's curiousity especially about extraterrestrial lives and other earthlike planets. To begin with, the technologies developed for exploring the universe have been proved to be variously available. In other words, sending a man into the moon or above our sky necessitates relevant technological findings, and the technologies about spaces are surely helpful to us living on the Earth. For example, to make it possible for an astronaut intake foods and water, the elimination of the airs and germs aroun the provisions is necessary. Therefore, relevant technology was invented, which are now used for saving our remained food safely by using vacuum wrapping machine. Also, concocting some robots that can move accurately in the severe conditions of the other planet like Mars was helpful in that the robots detailed movements could be used in medical technologies. These technologies originally developed for the universe seem to clearly improve our daily life. Moreover, going and searching into the universe is maybe lots of human's desire. That is to say, people have curiosity about unknown world where we would be able to find some beings or certain circumstances suitable for humans. To be specific, according the the survey conducted by NASA, eighty seven percent of Americans replied that they are curious about the outer space. They also answered about the question asking what is their most interests in the universe, that the living organism in the space and planets like earth are their primary concerns. Even this survey has carried out by an organization relevant to space exploring, considering other survey which was conducted by TIMES, a popular magazine in USA, the people agreed with that even if the costs are burdensome, exploring the universe is necessary. To make a closing remark, I once highlight that exploring outer space is not a waste of time and money. It provided applicable technologies, and the exploration of new space would satisfy our curiosity. If other people would be able to make a agreement, it won't be bad putting more money in relvant fields so that scientists can make a great accomplishment. |
