▶ Your Answer :
Some people contend that in order to attract good
students at university should spend a lot of money funding social activities. I
support such argument. There are many reasons that could espouse my position,
but the two biggest reasons for my position will be explained in the following.
First
of all, the school must provide budget for the social events. This is because
it can be revitalizing, offering an effective outlet for releasing for stress
and tension. As society becomes complex and faster-changing, people are increasingly
tied up by heavy workloads. The result is frustration, as they feel pressure to
handle tons of work. Because socializing is an exhilarating activity, however,
people can relieve their tension and stress. In this context, college should
spend money to social actions. My own case is good example of this. In my daily
work, I am swamped with lots of homework. In addition, I have to face
difficulties arising from complex relationships with my classmates and
teachers. Then, I playing the piano at my social club and try to relax. To my
astonishment, even if it is only for a brief moment, I feel deeply composed and
successfully gain some distance stress-ridden daily routine. And I feel
energized and ready for another day struggle with the hustle and bustle of
life.
Moreover,
provide to social events is beneficial in that it encourages people to have
stronger ties with others around them. In today’s competitive society, people are under great
pressure to outpace others, and thus lack
time to be with their families and friends. As a result, they are less
emotionally attached to their families and friends than they
were in the past. By playing instruments together and sharing their fun, however, they can sustain solid relations
with other as well as families. Therefore,
paying for after school activity should not be overlooked. According to a
recent survey in Health Magazine, nearly two third people felt that they could
restore their bonds with families and friends while enjoying social
interactions together. They also argue that they could exchange ideas and
develop sympathetic bonds with playing instruments and sports together. This increases
emotional attachment and, by extension, social awareness.
All in all, because of the reasons
above, I firmly believe that university’s supporting is not only be allowed,
but encouraged. |
