In
today's fast-paced society, it is believed that people should be absorbed in
knowing a specific subject to be a specialist(s) in the area. Some
people advocate that it is a waste of time studying many different classes in
college for that reason. However, I disagree with this view. I firmly believe
that experiencing various subjects is very helpful. This is because first,
taking different courses in university can expand perspective and second,
studying through the way is to gain authentic knowledge.
First of
all, learning from a host of fields can stretch my (the) view toward (about)
the world. It is because I can meet many different people from other majors and
work with them (by / while) sharing manifold
ideas. That is, it makes me expend my eyes for the world. (You already mentioned this) Also, through the
experiences, I can understand and generous (embrace
the thoughts?) for other things different from me (mine). Consequently, it can provide a chance for
me to enhance creativity and make a breakthrough in my area. For
example, when I took a course whose title was 'the presentation in English' and
(that) was irrelevant to my biology major, I met
many people who are proficient for (in) speaking
in English. In the end, the attending in the subject (class) made me take adventure to (be) an exchange student. Hence, it is appropriate to
say that it can present (an) excellent chance to
expand (the) perspective for (on) a life.
On top
of that, studying diverse classes which seems to (be)
irrelevant to each other can allow to achieve(ing)
genuine scholarship. In other words, different subjects are not actually
distinct. They are just divided into several groups because humans (we) needed the (concrete and
obvious) means to understand myriad principles of (the) world in concrete and obviously. That is,
many subjects are related to each other from philosophy to science. In fact,
many modern physicists connected the conception of physics to that of
philosophy and it resulted (resulting) in
a breakthrough in the sphere like the Principle of Uncertainty and the Relativeness
Principle (Theory of Relativity). Also, it
can also allow other subjects to be combined properly. For example, if a food
biological scientist (geneticist take) learn
a geology course, he can utilize the knowledge to inventing new plants
which can adapt to desolate soil and it can lead to a solution of famine in
developing countries. Thus, taking many different courses is very beneficial.
(Although your essay has contemplated reasoning and solid
sentence structure, several grammar mistakes and diction are regrettable. This
is a nice essay with solid reasoning. Good job!)
In conclusion, it is my belief that taking a lot of subjects can be very useful in life. It is because first, the chance can give new experiences to broaden views and also it is a way to understand knowledge in detail. Therefore, if we study varied subjects, both the world and human will be more thrive than this present.
