There has been heated over the issue of whether individual people can do nothing about them on their own because environment issues are very complex. While there are good arguments for both positions, the following discussion will explain in detail why I disagree.
My first argument for education of environmental conservation by the government should be espoused. This is because, education of environmental conservation by the government although environment issues are very complex plays critical roles in developing our untapped talents, which is very important for protection of environment. Modern-day people live hectic lives, because today's globalized society is increasingly competitive and constantly changing. As a result, it is difficult for them to discover the ways to protect environment. This makes it crucial for the government to help people tap into their full potential and conserve environment. Therefore, people can do many things about environment issues on their own through education of environmental conservation by the government.
According to a group of education experts at Columbia university, people who are under the close guidance of the government develop their potential and thus protect environment. The majority of surveyed education experts argued that people are likely to become unproductive if they do not fully receive the help and education of the government, especially, when they are in their developing stages.
Moreover, my strong support for teaching of environmental conservation by the government can be rationalized This is attributed the fact that the government can help people to preserve environment by teaching lessons on morality and ethics. Some people who mentally immature have a long way to go before day become grown-ups. During this long journey, they tend to make many mistakes such as destroying environment, and therefore are prone to misbehave. However, they can be guided by the government who can teach them about etiquette and social norms, and can thus good models for society. In this respect, people can do a variety of things about environment problems with the help of the government. For example, modern young people may give in to the temptation of abusing environment because they are too young to judge right from wrong. This is why the government's involvement is an urgent need. With the guidance of the government, they can learn how to avoid such temptations and become law-abiding citizens, by listening to the government's dexxscriptions of its own experiences. Through such lessons, they can become environmentally holistic beings.
In a nutshell, my discussion above presents two strong arguments for the role of the governments which I believe convince the reader. |
