Some people think that advantages of grading students are far outweigh those of disadvantages in terms of students’ learn. However, in my opinion, evaluating students is less important than learning for two reasons: to enhance of responsibilities and to keep in healthy. To begin with, grading is bad for students to stay healthy. This is because grading provide competitive surroundings and it is possible to teach a different way especially something wrong that only to gaining the record and it seems that give an illusion of push the competitors out of the bridge is more worthful than learning. illusion-students just try to only to obtain a great record and they believed that learning is a merely instrument that is able to upgrade their grade. This setting is very dangerous and it will be able to stressed out when they feel desperate reality of their schools through grading. And surely, this stress is very harmful for children. According to a study conducted by Seoul National University of Korea in 2012, a test on mice showed that life span was shorten when they regularly underwent series of electric shocks. Interestingly, the researchers found a link between this and human beings who suffered from periodic stress. This implies that high stress levels coming from grading can negatively affects humans, resulting in a shorter life span. On the top of that, grading plays a significant role in damaging students’ a sense of responsibility. This is due to the fact that, grading can grow selfishness of students rather than cooperations. Sincerely, selfish child might not be able to chance to raise a sense of responsibility because they are always prior to themselves. Moreover, children who do not have responsibilities tend to become faithless person when they do study or something else, and they generally need to responsibility so as to use the instrument. This is an research about grading that between grading students and non-grading students. According to a study conducted by Seoul National University of Korea in 2010, students who learn better than their peers who do not because they know how to handle multiple task even though hard work and responsibilities and can consequently manage their time well. On the whole, students who struggle to learn are more mature and better equipped to succeed than their grading peers. Theses benefits far outside the classroom. To sum up, children benefit more from pure learning than from grading. This is attributed to the fact that it is capable of developing a sense of responsibility and improving students’ health. In this regard, I strongly disagree with the statements that grading encourages students to learn for the reasons I mentioned above. |
