▶ Your Answer :As people make
light of importance of sports than study, people often debate whether or not
universities have to spend as much money on sports as they do on libraries. I
believe that colleges should invest money into sports as much as libraries for
two reasons : one can promote physical health and encourage students to
interact.
To begin with,
sports play a significant role in enhancing one’s physical health. Nowadays most
of the people have terribly sedentary lives. These behavior make people unhealthy
such as causing backache, getting slipped disc.
For example,
actually because of my sedentary lifestyle in high school, I got slipped disc. After
knowing that diagnosis, I truly regretted by attributing me. Since then I
exercised hardly and finally I overcame the backache. Even now I keep exercising.
On top of that,
sports allow people to interact each other. We can spend time playing sports
like soccer, basketball, baseball. These activities require cooperation.
Through this we depend more on one another and learn how to get along with
other people.
For instance, I was
very timid person only just few years ago. However, As I began to participate
tennis club I visibly became active. By playing tennis, I learn how to hang out
and interact one another. Through sports, I was able to acclimate easily to the
social group.
To sum up, sports
promote our physical health as well as encourage people to interact one
another.
In this regard, I
strongly believe that universities have to spend as much money on the physical
activity as they do on libraries. |
