some peope think that teachers should give homework to students every day. Homework given by each teacher of different subjects is sure to accumulate. That means students have many homeworks. But in my opinion, teachers should give adequate quantity of homeworks to their students. This is because too much homework make students' bag so heavy that it can affect their physical health and hinder them from concentrating one field of study.
At first, many homeworks given every day, as you know , backpacks will give pretty much pressure on the back of students, changing the location of bones of back and prventing thm from growing height. For example, according to the physicians, Too much pressure on the human's back could change the position of bones on back and suppress their growing hormones. It means children with heavy loads can't grow to the average height of human.
On top of that, this kind of homework leads children not to concentrate on one field of subject specifically. As children should finish their various and many homeworks on a day, they can't get any chance to concentrate on one field of study. It means, although the range of their knowledge is wide , their knowledge is just like wide river with shallow depth. people who have shallow knowledge can't solve problems whch requires efficient information on one field. Deep and pratical information can't be acquired by infrequent studying on one field. For instance , I got two competent friends. One is multilingual and the other is bilingual. One day I got question of a certain english sentence. The sentence was as pretty complicated as english teachers in korea can't explain it . Both men can read and speack english. When I asked that question to my multilingual friend, he couldn't explain and translate it precisely. But, unlike him , my bilingual friend translated it in to korean and explain it with elusive description.
To sum up studens shouldn't receive homeworks everyday. They can not only prevent their potential physical illnesses but have chances to concentrate on one field and get high-quality information through less homework. In this regard, I highly object to teachers giving homeworks everyday. |
