There are a lot of controversies
(is a controversy) over whether the introduction
of the Internet has a positive influence on education or not. I strongly believe that Internet helps
students learn more efficiently since learning from
(through) the Internet makes (saves) students
save time. In addition, people can
easily get a wide range of information through the Internet.
First of all, students can spare substantial time by
taking online courses. This is because Internet provides them with a wide
variety of courses from English speaking classes to classes for (on) learning
how to play the instrument. Furthermore, students can save time for (physically) going to the private
institution (class) since they do not need to go to it. That is
why more and more people are beginning to take online classes nowadays. For
instance, a recently released study showed that the number of people who
registered online courses are (is) greatly increasing and most of them are high
school seniors and workers. They said the main reason of (for) choosing
to study online is that they can study anytime via Internet. It is convenient
for them who cannot find time to attend the institution. Therefore, online
courses are definitely a time-efficient method of education.
Second, students are easily
able to (easily) gain considerable (amount of) useful information through the Internet.
This is because there are numerous information about various subjects on the
Internet and it (that) is simple to access to
use it. All (What) students need to do is just to put key words
what they are looking for and then find the best information. For example, when
I was a freshman in high school, I had to write an assignment about Italian
culture. I do (did) not know much about Italy since I have never gone to (been) there.
However, as soon as I go to the Internet and search for Italy's culture, I
could see numerous websites and materials about
them. Thanks to the website, I was able to find all the necessary
information what (that) I wanted and wirte
(wrote) a report pretty well. If I had to sort
through books in the library, it would be much tougher to find the information
and do the paper. This plainly reveals that no matter how unfamiliar the
subject is, people can obtain knowledge (through the
internet) without difficulty with the
Internet.
In conclusion, since students can save time by taking
online courses and (easily) procure easily various information, I strongly agree
that Internet is a(n) effective means of (to) their
learning. On the whole, it is absolutely true that Internet makes people
overcome the barrier of time and space when it comes to education.
