▶ Your Answer : There is an argument about whether spending
a lot of times because of practicing sports is positive for young children or
not. Although it is true that there is a negative aspect of spending a lot of
times for practicing sports, I agree with the notion that it is good for
children to spend a lot of times practicing sports. In this essay, I will
explain my idea by presenting two reasons as follows. Most
of all, sports activity contains movements which will help growth of young
children. Personally, one of my friend was a basketball player for two years
when he was middle school freshman and sophomore year. He was sorter than me
during elementary school. Since, he got in to basketball team. He played a
basketball for around 5hours per day. Basketball involves a lot of jumping movement.
That movement helps growing height during growing ages. As a result, he is
taller than me. In this regard, practicing sports help physical growth of young
children. Moreover, young children could learn how to
socialize. In particular, there is a lot of chance to meet and deal with people
while practicing sports. It is really great opportunity to learn social skills.
Specially, young children could learn teamwork and leadership during sports
activity. For example, 11 people are one team in soccer. People have to
communicate and help each other to win the game. Also, children have to
consider coaches plans. In this sense, they will learn how to fit in the group
or community successfully. To conclude, I maintain that practicing
sports a lot during child hood has good aspect in young children. This is
because, they could develop their social skills. Additionally, while playing
sports movements such as jumping, running and swinging will help young children’s
growth.
