▶ Your Answer :
An intriguing
topic of discussion at hand is whether the individuals should refer to diverse
news resources to get information or not. There always have been controversial
issues around this topic, and there is still an on-going debate on this topic.
The answer to this question can vary depending on the individual perspectives,
as not all stand on the same angle. However, in this set of essay, I think it’s
better to refer to diverse news resources for the following two noteworthy
reasons. First, some exclusive news stories are only available to certain news
resources. Second, some news resources tend to be bias.
To begin with,
sometimes, there are exclusive news stories which can only be read in certain
new resources. Today’s society can be described as a competitive society where
the individuals have to compete against others in order to achieve certain
things. Getting a job can be one of these things where there are always
competitions. Today, the job market is one of the most competitive areas,
because of the increasing difficulty of getting a job. And one way to get
through this competition and get a job is to have lots of knowledge in various
areas, such as economy, politics, and science. Therefore, it is important for
the individuals to be exposed to lots of new information, meaning that the more
news articles people read, the more competitive they will be in the job market,
thus increasing their chance of being employed.
According to the Ministry of Employment, it has been reported that most
companies tend to prefer people who are able to answer question to variety of
topics in their interview. This is not only confined to employments, but also
in other areas as well. In this sense, it is evident that people should read
from variety of new resources to accumulate knowledge about many different
topics, in order to become more competitive.
In addition,
there are lots of news articles that tend to be bias to certain topics. In
today’s society, the ability to interact well with others is getting more and
more crucial, most likely because of the increasing number of interactions. A
way individuals can interact well and keep a good relation with others is to
think in their boots. People have different perspectives and ideas about
certain topics, and by understand from their point of view, it is possible to
emit unpleasing arguments and debates, therefore being able to maintain a good
relationship. Although news articles are not supposed to be bias, many of them
still favor certain angles. And by reading many of these bias news articles,
the individuals can develop knowledge in many different perspectives. For
instance, my uncle is a consultant at a company, who tries to solve the
problems that occur inside the company. As consultant, his job is to listen to
the problems and try to suggest the solutions. However, many solutions tend to
be linked to the clients, and my uncle has to tell the clients that they are
doing something wrong without hurting their feelings. And to do this
successfully, my uncle tells me that he tries to understand others by thinking
from their angle. There are many jobs that must interact with other frequently
these days, and in this regard, it is apparent that the individuals should read
from many different news resources to become a more understanding person.
In conclusion, I
strongly argue for my stand point on account of the two reasons mentioned
above. Although the verdict may still be out, considering the above two
reasons, there is no doubt that reading from various news resources is more
beneficial than reading from few resources.
